2 pounds, 1 ounce.

I had my weekly ultrasound today (26 weeks, 1 day). In addition to the regular AFI (around 12--healthy and no concern for her kidneys this week) and cervical length checks (same measurement as last week--Yay!), we got to do some size measurements. Baby girl is measuring exactly on track for her gestational age. The estimate on her current weight is 2 pounds, 1 ounce. Z was really big when he came at 29 weeks, and he was 3 pounds, 9 ounces. I know it is realistic that she'll be smaller than he was given that he was so unusually big. However, I know how much each ounce means if she ends up coming early so it caught me by surprise that she's so much less than he was. I knew the doctors said he was really big, but I didn't get just how big until now. It is unrealistic that she'll gain a pound and a half in 3 weeks. Hopefully she'll just keep baking so that we don't have to worry about it.

Tomorrow, I have an OB appointment. I'm having another fFN after the last one was inconclusive. My appointment is so late in the day that I don't know if the test sample will get to the lab in time for results on Wednesday. Hopefully we'll have the results by Thursday.
