Nothing to report.

My current fFN negative takes me through today. My doctor is having me come in on Tuesday to rerun the test that was inconclusive. Part of me is nervous about waiting because that negative is such a huge part of my peace-of-mind. I won't have it for 5-6 days (or never, but I'm trying to be have a good attitude). However, if it does come back negative, it'll take me to the day that hospitalized me in Z's pregnancy. That is a huge day in my mind.

Statistically, preemie girls do much better than preemie boys, especially in those born weighing less than 1500g (~3 pounds 5 ounces). Some studies actually say that being a girl is an advantage of almost one full gestational week of development. Of all preemies, white boys typically struggle the most and have the highest mortality rates .
(Male Mortality; Female Mortality; Full study; USA Today).

So, with a little girl this time, her odds are pretty good if she makes it to 28 weeks. Z made it to 29. Of course, we really want to make it even closer to term than 28 weeks, but each day after that point feels like a bonus to me. It will just be a gift.
